Adding images to your WordPress website is a simple yet powerful way to enhance visual appeal and engage your audience. Adding images in WordPress

  1. Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard: Go to your WordPress website’s admin area and log in with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Post or Page: Select the post or page where you want to add an image.
  3. Click on “Add Media”: In the post or page editor, position your cursor where you want the image to appear and click on the “Add Media” button located above the editor.
  4. Upload or Select an Image: In the media uploader window, you can either upload a new image from your computer by clicking on the “Upload Files” tab and then “Select Files”, or choose an existing image from your media library.
  5. Customize Image Settings: Once the image is uploaded, you can customize various settings such as alignment, size, and caption. You can also add alternative text (alt text) for accessibility purposes.
  6. Insert the Image: After customizing the settings, click on the “Insert into post” or “Insert into page” button to add the image to your content.

Removing images in WordPress

  1. Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard: Access the admin area of your WordPress website.
  2. Edit the Post or Page: Locate the post or page containing the image you want to remove and click on “Edit”.
  3. Locate the Image: In the post or page editor, find the image you wish to remove.
  4. Select the Image: Click on the image to select it. You’ll usually see editing handles or options appear around the image.
  5. Delete the Image: Press the “Delete” key on your keyboard or use the delete or backspace option in the editor to remove the image from the post or page.
